Abstract Submission Guidelines Online Submissions :

•        There is a 200-word limit for the text of the abstract. No graphs, tables or images are uploaded in the submission phase. 

•        Subject Matter Abstracts can be on any subjet of drug use or bahavior disorder or on the actions of drugs of abuse. Etiological agents involved in drug use disorder, including their molecular biology, chemistry, pharmacological action, biological disposition, psychological, and comorbidities. Contributions concerning research on neurobiology, epidemiology, prevention, harm reduction, public health policies and politics, legislation, rehabilitation, or psychotherapeutic management and innovative treatment of drug dependence.

•        All categories of submissions will include: Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.

•        Failure to follow the instructions will result in rejection of your abstract.

•        All abstracts must be submitted by May 15 th, 2023 (Moroccan Time, GMT+1).

Symposium :

ï       Symposium is one hour and thirty minutes in length, including discussion at the end of the session.

ï       Symposium may have no more than four speakers.

ï       The chair will submit the overall session title and summary abstract (maximum 200 words).

ï       Speakers will submit their individual presentation title only.

ï       All abstracts must be submitted by May 15 th, 2023 (Moroccan Time, GMT+1).

ï       All speakers in a selected session must register during the early bird registration time frame to be scheduled in the program.

Workshops : 

ï       Workshops are one hour and thirty minutes in length. They can consist of data presentations and/or skills-building sessions and are supposed to be more interactive. The chair will manage the speaking team.

ï       All speakers in a selected session must register during the early bird registration time frame to be scheduled in the program.

ï       Workshops can have two to four speakers.

ï       A co-chair and moderator are optional.

ï       The chair will submit the overall session title and summary abstract (maximum 200 words).

ï       Speakers will submit their individual presentation title only.

ï       All abstracts must be submitted by May 15 th, 2023 (Moroccan Time, GMT+1)..

ï       All speakers in a selected session must register during the early bird registration time frame to be scheduled in the program.

Oral  Presentations:

An oral communication is a brief talk (typically 10-15 minutes). A selection of the abstracts from the total accumulation of submissions will be determined for oral communications based on their content match with the predetermined topics of the curated sessions. All other accepted abstracts will be designated as posters.

Presenters will receive email notification of acceptance with the date, time, and type (poster, or oral ) of presentation.

Poster presentations :

ISAM Congress Marrakesh includes virtual poster sessions.

No individual can be first author (presenter) on more than one abstract.

All abstracts must be submitted by May 15 th, 2023 (Moroccan Time, GMT+1).

Based on their content, the scientific committee could propose you to convert your poster to oral presentation. An email will be sent to you for this occasion. You are free to decide if you want to keep your work as a poster or to accept converting it in oral presentation.
